The problem

AI is everywhere. Nobody has the overview.

  • No overview

Teams use chat tools, plugins and AI features in software you already bought. Nobody has a full list.

  • New duties

The AI Act is in force. Bans and AI literacy duties already apply, more rules follow in stages.

  • No owner

IT, legal and data protection each see a part. Nobody owns AI as a whole.

What we do

Everything an AI governance setup needs.

  • AI inventory

We find and list every AI system in use, including AI features inside existing software.

  • Risk classification

Each system sorted into the AI Act risk classes, with the reasons written down.

  • Roles and ownership

An owner for every system and a clear team for AI decisions.

  • Rules and policy

An AI policy people understand: what is allowed, with which data and who approves.

  • Documentation

Records for each system: purpose, data, human oversight and review dates.

  • AI literacy training

Training for staff and managers, as Article 4 of the AI Act requires. More on AI training for teams.

What changes

AI you can use and explain.

  • Management knows which AI runs in the company and what it is used for.
  • Teams know what they may use, with which data, and who to ask.
  • Legal and data protection get the records they need instead of chasing them.

Our role

Governance in practice. Legal advice stays with lawyers.

We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. We build the inventory, the processes and the documentation, and we work alongside your legal counsel and data protection officer, who make the legal calls.

  • Clear split: we build, your lawyers assess
  • Fits your existing data protection setup
  • Language your teams understand

Frequently asked questions

What is the EU AI Act?

The EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) is the European law on artificial intelligence. It entered into force on 1 August 2024 and sorts AI systems by risk, with stricter duties for higher risk.

Which rules already apply?

Bans on certain AI practices and the duty to ensure AI literacy (Article 4) apply since 2 February 2025. Rules for general-purpose AI models apply since 2 August 2025. The bulk of the remaining rules apply in stages from 2026.

Does the AI Act apply to companies that only use AI?

Yes. Companies that use AI systems are deployers under the AI Act. The AI literacy duty applies to them, and further duties depend on the risk class of the system.

Do you give legal advice?

No. We set up the inventory, processes, roles and documentation. Legal assessments stay with your legal counsel or data protection officer, and we work alongside them.

How long does it take?

A readiness check takes weeks, not months. Setting up the full governance depends on how many AI systems are in use.

What does AI governance consulting cost?

It depends on the size of your company and the number of AI systems. We start with a readiness check at a fixed price.
