Deployment

On-premise CRM or cloud. You decide where your customer data lives.

Sigma CRM runs on your own servers or in our cloud. It is the same product in both cases. On-premise, your customer data stays inside your network and you decide who operates it.

Two options

Choose where Sigma CRM runs.

On-premise and self-hosted

Sigma CRM runs as a Docker Compose stack with PostgreSQL on your own infrastructure, in your data center or your private cloud. Your data stays in-house.

Cloud

We run Sigma CRM for you. Your team signs in and starts working, and we take care of operations and updates.

What runs on your server

A self-hosted CRM you can understand.

The on-premise stack is a small set of containers. Only the application is reachable from outside, through your own reverse proxy. The database is reachable only inside the stack.

  • PostgreSQL database with persistent volumes
  • Authentication, storage and an internal API gateway
  • The application with its background worker
  • Scheduled jobs for recurring CRM tasks
  • Database migrations run in a separate step, and a failed migration stops the deployment
  • Each image passes linting, type checks and tests before it can ship

Planning to run Sigma CRM on your own servers?

Data and AI

Your data stays where you put it.

On-premise, your CRM data lives in your PostgreSQL database. For AI features, you choose the model provider and can use your own key. Signal observers can also run from your own Claude Code, on your own model access.

  • Customer data in your own database
  • Your choice of model provider per agent
  • Your own API keys for models
  • Sign-in by email and password, magic link, or Google and Microsoft accounts

Frequently asked questions

Can Sigma CRM run without the cloud?

Yes. Sigma CRM runs on-premise on your own servers. Your CRM data stays in your own PostgreSQL database inside your network.

What do we need for an on-premise installation?

A server that runs Docker Compose with enough memory for the application and the database. The self-hosted CRM page lists the stack. We plan sizing, setup and backups with you.

Is the on-premise version the same product as the cloud version?

Yes. Both run the same Sigma CRM with the same features, the same MCP server and the same API.

How are updates handled on-premise?

We agree the update process with you. Database migrations run in their own step, so a failed migration stops the update before the new version goes live.

How is on-premise licensed?

On-premise runs under the Enterprise license, which is a perpetual license. See the pricing page.
